| I have this series called Arena (X, Y, and Z) and it's about what happens when some kids are sucked into a videogame and have to fight their way out. This would happen to be that same idea but with a twist. The characters are there for you. You only have to customize them. Once you've selected 5 cards for your beginning "Deck", you're pulled into a videogame of Fables, Fairytales, Urban Legends, and Mythology. The best way to win is the beat other plays and acquire their cards to build up your deck (Maximum of 20 cards which means after you hit 20 you have to exchange) In the game, you wander around a vast world meeting several other players. Your employ the powers of these cards, turning into the characters upon calling on them. The first one to off the other by the selected rules wins. Think you can be the first to escape. The game has maybe 5% Plot 45% Action and 50% Free Roam/Form. So pick your first 5 Transformations (you can have the same as others though it isn't advised) - Alice in Wonder Characters:
Alice Cheshire The Dormouse Tweedles Dee and Dum The March Hare The Mad Hatter The Red Queen The White Queen A Card Soldier A Chessman Soldier White Rabbit Dodo *If I missed any then tell me
- The Wizard of Oz Characters:
Dorothy and Toto Scarecrow Tin-Man The Wicked Witch Lucinda Flying Monkey Lion The "Wizard" Munchkin *If I missed any please tell me
- Fairytales Characters (List is LONG so I didn't put all teh fairytales I knew especially since most are from/in disney movies haha. Seriously, this list would get ridiculous otherwise XD):
Goldilocks + HER 3 bears Little Red Gingerbread Man Three Pigs Pinocchio The Wolf (LR) The Big Bad Wolf (3LP) Lumberjack Grandma Jimmeny Cricket Cinderella Prince Charming Rapunzel The Mice (Cinderella) The Pied Piper Beauty and the Beast
- Horror Characters (Another Scary long list *No pun intended*):
Wolf-Man/Werewolf (because apparently there's a difference) Mummy Dracula Frankenstein Ghost/Phantom Jack-o-Lantern Boogey-Man Swamp Monster Mad Scientist Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde The Blod Creature Feature AKA Giant Beast - 'Tis Forbidden. Only here to let you know it may have some small plot reasons for being in the game
- Mythology Characters:
Faerie/Fairy Mermaid Siren Gorgon Harpy Dragon Demigod Giant Elf Titan - Forbidden. *Other - Tell What

Okay a question first. Do you RP->
"In story format?" He asked with a question mark over his head.
Merc: Or in Script format.
I'm really used to script because of the last Few sites I've been on but it doesn't really matter to me.

| Hey Merc, definitely looking to join this, though I had a question; could you customize character appearances?
For instance, set up a thematic deck with, say, 'the living dead' as the theme, where all of the transformations look as if that character was killed and then raised as a zombie or something. Dragon becomes Dracolich, Alice looks like a stiched up rag doll, Dracula... doesn't ultimately change. >>
Or set up a flame deck, with, say, a burning Scarecrow, or a flame pixie. Or a water/ice deck, with Frosty the Snowman, a Frozen Frankenstein or something. Effectively tying the deck together with a sole theme, that may or may not extend to cards you may pick up or lose along the way.

| @Fant: You that actually becomes a feature in the game. I'mm mention it near the beginning, actually.
@Ryue: See Below.
Script Format-
Mary: Hi Jo, what's up? (picks up an apple from her basket and takes a nibble)
Jo: I was just practicing. (thinks/mutters) Wasn't it obvious? (Takes up her bow and aims then shoots the apple from Mary's hand)
The two suddenly realize they're late and run off toward the school building.
When speaking OOC still use (()) and Yes, Jo is a girl name...without the E anyway.
So basically collective actions or vivid scene are bold. Thoughts or Mutters are Italics and everything else is...obvious. Individual character actions are in () within their lines.

| Hmm, interesting. For a standard rp I'd say going with story format would be best, but for a card game rp, maybe script format WOULD work better. Plus it'd be an interesting change. What you think Fant? | |

| XD with me it's the exact opposite. On the site I innitially came from, Script was the standard and regular was once every blue moon. But we actually let people do any format they wanted because it made things easier haha. | |

| It's the same here in one sense. People are aloud to use any format they'd like for...pretty much everything. The only thing that has rules is the content and inappropriate things and such like that.

| ((Then now it begins)) - Open Roleplay. You may join late after it begins. Roleplay begins with everyone getting the game and that first 5 card booster pack to go with it.
Chris: (runs to his house with a plastic bag in hand. He goes to his room and locks the door behind him, pulling out a videogame) I know what I'm doing this weekend. Hehehe. (puts the game into the console then opens the cards)

| Raye: ( Sits in the middle of her bed with her five crisp new cards spread in front of her. She admires the artwork of each periodically between reading the back of the game that came with it. How exactly cards corresponded with a game she was unsure, but she was sure it would all be explained somewhere either on the back of the case or in the handbook that came with it. )

| Chris: (Waits patient for the game to load. In doing so, he carefully examines the cards. The golden bar codes on the back shine in the lighting of the room) Gold bar Codes...Ooookaaaay...
Suddenly the game turns on and music blasts from the televsion, nearly giving Chris a heart attack.
Chris: Gah! (turns down the volume, nearly dropping the remote and all of the cards in his panic)

| Raye: ( Alright, this looked like a pretty interesting game. She was satisfied with her understanding of it so far, and though it didn't tell her everything she was sure once the game started things would become clear soon enough. She slipped the game in and watched the load screen, ordering her cards neatly beside her as she waited. )

| The opening screen of the game is blue and uneventful. Some white text makes its way across the screen, which Chris impatiently skips. Then, in big bold letters, it says "SWIPE BAR-CODES IN CARD SLOT OF CONSOLE". Chris blinks cluelessly and searches the new console for a card slot. | |

The screen changes into a swirling image and reads. "Enjoy Your Game" then Chris is suddenly sucked in.

| Raye: ( After several moments of inspecting the console uselessly she eventually finds herself leaned against the bed again with her nose buried in the handbook. Maybe she just had the wrong gaming system. That was quickly dismissed when the diagram near the back showed the familiar design of the console in front of her. It was in this that she saw the card slot labeled. ) How odd... ( She leans forward and swipes the card, then watches as the screen changes, and then...something odd happens. )
